18th-19th Century Art Workshop (7 Weeks)

The Workshop covers the Late 18th Century and 19th Century and will teach the participants how to look at paintings from art movements of those periods. The target of the Workshop is to develop skills for the participants to recognise the typical art movements from 1750s to 1900. The Workshop is designed for beginners to art history and no background knowledge or experience is needed. The Workshop will be composed of 7 lectures of 2 hours each and will be conducted in English.
Workshop Content:
By participating in the 18th-19th Century Art Workshop you will:
– Learn about the background and characteristics of art movements from these periods
– Learn techniques to distinguish each movement and style
– Develop skills to analyse paintings from the periods
– Participate in fun quizzes and win art books as prizes

* Symbolism, Art Nouveau & Les Nabis
